This vintage dessert, plate is the pattern American Sweetheart manufactured by MacBeth-Evans during 1930 - 1936. The pattern was an elaborate design of lacy swirls, finely detailed and quite feminine, created from a mold-etched pattern. The translucent white called white monax, when held up to the light, had a faint bluish hue to it. This plate has no design in the center and measures 6 3/8” d.
