Unique, and one of a kind. You won’t find anything like this in any store! Beautifully tailored by a seamstress in Toronto, handmade for my aunt in 1991. It’s black cotton with a decent weight to it and a bit of stretch too, so it holds the shape of the lapels and pleats. I’m positive that my aunt handpicked these gold buttons when she was traveling in Italy and then brought them back to be made into a tailored black shorty romper. She’s amazing. There are small pleats at the outsides of the sleeve where a gold button fastens. Then there are hooks that fasten at the waist as well as gold buttons down the front. Big shoulder pads for that incredible 90s look. They are attached with simple stitches so feel free to remove them if they’re not your thing.
