Bamboo driftwood self harvested from San Clemente.DIMENSIONS: 27"W x 35"LThis one is a bit heavy.I dont remember how long it took to make but for sure over 10 hours. The upcycled fabric yarns are vintage fabrics I hand cut into strips and most of the yarns were purchased 2nd hand to ensure less waste. Plus vintage yarns are fun to work with. The driftwood is a bit heavy on this one. Lots of texture in this piece. HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR TAPESTRY:1-To ensure the weaving is hung on the correct side, do not cut off the NAME TAG. However, the back side will have many end pieces hanging or tied as well as knots at the top of the rod/wood. 2-The tapestry can be hung on nails or suspended with string, etc. (Depending on size & weight two or more nails will be necessary. For heavier tapestries please find wall studs.) 3-Hang tapestry at its balancing point on the rod. The top weaving line should typically be straight, NOT necessarily the rod. Essentially, you hang it how you like it, but you can reference these pics or my Instagram page for how your piece hangs from my perspective.
