In the mid-80s, Louis Vuitton started using letters in the date codes. These letters corresponded with the factory where the specific item was made. The first to numbers show year, the last one or two numbers show the month. Followed with two letters representing the country of manufacturing.
****Please see pictures. There are some scuff around the bottom edges and some tarnishing on the hardware. The only major thing I see on this bag is the grommets around the sides where the handle attaches are missing. This does not affect the bag at all and I barely even noticed they were gone. The inside is in good condition.
