It is a very plush suede ,so touching it leaves a "print". When you brush the nap one way, it reflects light differently, making it look lighter; brushing the other way makes it look darker. That is normal. No scuffs, tears, discoloration or fading. It looks like it was worn once, or just a few times, the tips of heel don't even look scuffed.
