These super lightweight & gorgeous earrings consist of REAL aspen leaves that have been dipped in either 24K gold or sterling silver. They will all vary just a touch in shape & size due to the nature of them, but all will look similar to the ones shown as we are extremely choosy about the leaves that we select for your jewelry. All leaves will measure approximately one inch in size, bringing the total earring length to about 1.25 inches. ~Sterling silver version will consist of silver dipped leaves, suspended on sterling silver (925) French hooks ~Gold version will consist of 24K dipped leaves with 14K gold filled French hooks, NOT plated, these earrings are considered safe for most all jewelry wearers. Your jewelry will arrive boxed & gift wrapped, along with care instructions, polishing cloth & protective storage bag. Our silver jewelry is made with .925 sterling silver wire, chain & clasps. Nickel free & will never chip, flake, change color or cause skin irritations. Safe to wear every single day. Most of the charms & components are 100% sterling silver as well. Silver loves to be worn & is safe to wear in water but should not come in contact with harsh chemicals. Sterling silver is prone to tarnish over time. There is nothing that will completely prevent tarnishing, but it is easily removed with any silver polishing cloth or cream. Silver being worn continuously will stay bright. Our gold jewelry is made with 14k gold filled chain, wire & clasps. The term gold filled means that it is a solid layer of pure gold(14k), bonded to a base metal such as brass, but wears like solid gold. It is not recommended to be worn in water. It is still hypo-allergenic, nickel free & will never chip, flake, change color or cause skin irritations. Some of our designs may incorporate components from a third party that are bronze, or a vermeil style gold plate. This is 40 micro inches of 98.5% pure gold plated over sterling silver with a fine layer of nickel in between & finished with a nano-polymer coating to protect the surface & repel oxidation. This will be the same for our rose gold products.
