2.5oz/75ml Vintage bottle batch 5L01; stock photos are the redesign. The original flacon, designed by Raymond Guerlain himself, won 1st prize @ the Paris Decorative Arts Exhibition in 1925. Its curves were inspired by the basins of the famous Shalimar gardens. The show stopper w/its sapphire transparency recalls the garden's eternally gushing waters. Guerlain commits to the bee, sentinel of the environment w/bergamot, iris, & vanilla notes; an intense wake w/a touch of impertinence, which embodies skin-caressing sensuality w/a hint of the forbidden. Inspired by the passionate love story between an emperor & an Indian princess, Shalimar, temple of love in Sanskrit, symbolises the promise of eternal love forevermore
