I don't know much about typewriters but this one seems to be working fine it just needs to be cleaned up obviously it's very old very unique it has a AM radio built into it to the case damn radio I have for the battery in it and it did come on so it still worked which typewriter as far as I know works it just needs to be cleaned and maybe the ribbon replaced in what not but otherwise it works an item for a unique collector the case snaps closed and works there's nothing wrong with the case just dirty and stuffed a few places look at the pictures please I'll try to include as many as I can
