Emerald Lakes, a diverse and vibrant vacation community in the Poconos, offers 5 lakes, 2 beaches with bathhouses and playgrounds, indoor and outdoor pools, picnic areas, volleyball, tennis and basketball courts, a clubhouse, and scenic hiking trails. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO EMERALD LAKES VISITORS & RENTERS ON FISHING IN EMERALD LAKES Emerald Lakes is committed to keeping our lakes healthy and fun for our residents and visitors to fish in. The Emerald Lakes Board and Administration spend a lot of time and money to keep our lakes safe and enjoyable. To that end, please obey the following:

  • Emerald Lakes is Catch and Release Only for Small mouth and Largemouth bass. You can keep sunfish, crappies, perch and catfish if you want, but please return any bass to the lake immediately. Ice fishing is limited to a total of two tip ups and one rod per person. The tip ups must be no more than twenty-five feet from where the fishermen is sitting.
  • Everyone over the age of 16 needs to register with the ELA Office and obtain a vehicle tag (if needed) and a fishing tag when fishing on our lakes. Cost is $5.00. You must bring with you your PA Fishing License in order to register. You can obtain tags at the ELA office on 1112 Glade Drive from Monday through Saturday from to 8:00 to 4:00pm.
  • You must wear your Emerald Lakes fishing tag at all times when fishing on our lakes.
  • We will have Fishing Patrol members on the lakes to check for ELA fishing tags. If you do not have one, you will be asked to leave, and get a fishing tag from the Administration Office. If you fail to comply, Emerald Lakes security will be called to enforce our rules.
  • Failure to abide by the Catch and Release or Fishing Tag requirements will result in the violator being fined $200 for each violation. All amenity privileges will be revoked until the fine/s are reconciled. Call the homeowner, landlord or Administration Office for advice.

Access

Guests will have access to the entire house during their stay.

Welcome to Emerald Lakes HOA, here are notable rules to ensure enjoyable environment: To use amenities, amenity badges are to be purchased and should always be with you when using any of the amenities and all vehicles must display association issued identification. Amenity Badge:

  • 1 day pass for $20.00/ per person
  • 3 day pass for $30.00/ per person
  • 7 day pass for $50.00/ per person
  • Children under 2 are free!!

Notes

The resort community we are in requires all guests and vehicles to be pre-registered with the HOA at least 5 days prior to your date of arrival for security reasons. If you want to rent the same day, please contact us immediately by sending a message. We can address your concerns timely. We will be more than glad to submit the registration form and pay the registration fee on your behalf. As part of the process, we will be sending you a registration form via email, which needs to be filled out and emailed back to us.

The primary renter should be at least 25 years of age. We would be glad to welcome renters 21 years of age with a minimal security deposit of $250 to be returned back to you after your stay.

Guests are expected to leave all garbage in bins outside of the house. Kindly remove personal trashes inside the house before departure, additional leftover trash inside the house will be charged $25/bag, for cleaning crew to dispose so your cooperation would be really appreciated. Please be aware that HOA Trash access is closed on Mondays.

Gentle reminder, HOA prohibits Firework for public safety.

  • No FIREWORKS, OPEN FIRES, FIREARMS, Excess Noise please.
  • No Snowmobile, ATV or offroad vehicles.
  • Please park on host parking lot.
  • Please secure trash to be animal proof.
